Fantastic tranquil escape, couldn't fault it
It is challenging when you return to the farm you grew up on 40 yrs ago ... but the Elm Cottage team have done an amazing job of retaining the sense of the place while setting up a beautiful getaway spot for 2, 4 etc, right up to our group of 27! Well done.
We spent the last few days at the River Edge cottage at the Elm Cottage in Tumut and we had such a lovely and relaxing time. Dave and Deb the owners keep the area beautifully. We had our own private stretch of lovely, clean cool river to frolic in, a safe fenced, large and pretty yard area that our dog could run freely in and the whole family had a really plesant time. We recommend the place to families or couples and will visit again.
Words cannot cover our joy and delight at being able to have holidays at Elm Cottage with our Golden Retriever, Clancy. We are all well and truly "over the hill" so find the laid back, do your own thing atmosphere just right. Congratulations to Deb and Dave for creating such an unforgettable holiday experience.
